The main characteristics of PETG
Excellent thermoforming performance
PETG plate is easy to produce products with complex shape and large stretch ratio. Moreover, unlike PC plates and impact-modified acrylic, the plates do not need to be pre-dried before thermoforming. Compared with PC board or acrylic, the molding cycle is short, the temperature is low, and the yield is higher.
toughness
Extruded sheets of PETG sheets are typically 15 to 20 times tougher than universal acrylic and 5 to 10 times tougher than impact-modified acrylic. The PETG sheet has enough bearing capacity during processing, transportation and use to help prevent rupture.
Weather resistance
PETG plates provide excellent weather resistance. It keeps the product tough and prevents Browning. It contains ultraviolet absorber, can be squeezed into a protective layer, protecting the board from the harmful effects of ultraviolet.
Simple processing
PETG plate can be sawed, die-cut, drilling, punching, shearing, riveting, milling and cold bending, not broken. Slight scratches on the surface can be removed with a heat gun. Solvent bonding is also a routine operation. It is easier to process than general acrylic, anti-impact modified acrylic or PC board, and can be flocking, electroplating, electrostatic processing.
Excellent chemical resistance
PETG plates can withstand a wide range of chemicals as well as commonly used cleaners.
Environmental protection
PCTG board substrates are all environmentally friendly materials and meet the requirements of food contact management.
economy
It is cheaper than PC board and more durable than acrylic.
PETG is partially applied
PETG has glass-like transparency and density close to glass, good gloss, chemical corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and easy to process, injection molding, injection blow molding and extrusion blow molding. It can also produce unique shapes, looks and special effects, such as bright colors, matte, marble texture, metallic luster, etc. But also can use other polyester, elastic plastic or ABS for overlapping injection molding.

The products are hard, transparent, shiny, not white under pressure, easy to shape and post-processing processing, in line with environmental requirements, and in line with the United States FDA on food contact standards, widely used in building decoration and materials.
