HIGH-RANGE WATER REDUCING ADMIXTURE LIQUID   ( PCE   )

1   , DESCRIPTION
PC is a polycarboxylate type high-range water reducing admixture for HPC (High Performance Concrete).
PC was designed to yield high flowable and high strength concrete, and also have little loss in workability of fresh concrete with time due to hydration of the cement.
The use of PC is an effective means if producing high strength concrete and SCC (Self-Compacting Concrete).

2   , ADVANTAGE
PC has excellent water-reducing capabilities and keeps the conctete sufficiently plastic to give a desired waorkable concrete.
PC is free from chloride, which is considered undesirable in circumstances, and therefore it may be used with safety.
PC can be added at the mixing plant rather than the job site due to the slump retentive capability for about 60 minut.
It is possible to produce workable high-strength concrete with blast-furnace slag, fly ash, lime stone and silica fume by using PC.
Drying shrinkage has been decreased when PC is added, therefore crack has been reduced than conventional superplasticizer concrete.
