Product Description

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
LYD6 series surge protective device (hereinafter called SPD) is suitable used in the TT, TN-S, TN-C,IT, TN-C-S and etc power supply system of AC 50/60Hz, rated voltage 380V and below, to protect from direct and indirect lightning impulse and other transient over voltage. Product is in compliance with GB18802.1 and IEC61643-1 standards.

STRUCTURE AND PRINCIPLE
  1. SPD as only one side of terminals, able to prevent from being electric touching, indoor fixedly mounted, limited voltage.
  2. SPD has built-in dis-connector, when SPD is invalid due to overheating or breakdown, the dis-connector can automatically separate SPD from the network, meanwhile send an indication signal. The visible window show white color in normal service, if to be separated from network, it will show red color.
  3. 1P+N,2P+N,3P+N SPD consist of 1P,2P.3P SPD and NPE neutral and earthing protection modules, used in the power supply system of TT, TN-S and etc.

INSTALLATION
  1. LYD6-20 is mounted between LPZ1 or LPZ2 zone and LPZ3 zne. The cross sectional area of multi-strand ssoft copper conductor to be connect: 2.5~35mm 2 . It is used in distribution boxes of living house, computer center, communication equipment, electronica equipment and control equipment or nearest socket box.
  2. LYD6-40 is mounted between LPZ0B or LPZ1 zone and LPZ2 zone.The cross sectional area of multi-strand soft copper conductor to be connected: 2.5~35mm 2 .
  3. In order to prevent the surge protector failure after the impact of power grid security, each pole must be connected in series with a front-end surge protector LY-SCB back-up protection.
