PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
LYD5-150T type surge protective device is the integrated product , it is suitable used in the TT,-TN-S,IT and etc  low voltage AC distribution system and provide B class surge protection for these three phase power supplies. Integral design is adopted , the protection mode divided into two kind: L-PE/N-PE, L-N/N-PE, with such advantages of large carrying capacity, low residual voltage, integral structure make installation easily, the protector has thermal tripping and light alarm, remote signal can be provided if user require.
STRUCTURE AND PRINCIPLE
  1. SPD as only one side of terminals, able to prevent from being electric touching, indoor fixedly mounted, limited voltage.
  2. SPD has built-in dis-connector, when SPD is invalid due to overheating or breakdown, the dis-connector can automatically separate SPD from the network, meanwhile send an indication signal. The visible window show white color in normal service, if to be separated from network, it will show red color.
  3. 1P+N,2P+N,3P+N SPD consist of 1P,2P.3P SPD and NPE neutral and earthing protection modules, used in the power supply system of TT, TN-S and etc.

INSTALLATION
  1. Category B surge protective device (SPD), used in the connection between equal potential electrodes while thunder occur.
  2. General to be installed in low voltage main coming distribution panel, overhead incoming.
  3. To adopt 35mm stand mounting rail for SPD mounting.
  4. To be mounted: between LPZ0B zone and the LPZ1 zone, adopts 35mm standard mounting rail. The cross section area of multi-strand soft copper conductor: 2.5~35mm 2 .
  5. Every pole of SPD shall be protected by fuse or mini circuit breaker.
  6. In order to prevent the surge protector failure after the impact of power grid security, each pole must be connected in series with a front-end surge protector LY-SCB back-up protection.
