High Purity CAS 111-55-7/Ethylene Glycol Diacetate for Paint Industry   Ethanediol diacetate is a kind of clear water soluble organic liquid. It is a very excellent solvent for oils, cellulose esters, explosives, etc .Ethylene glycol diacetate reacts with aqueous acids to liberate heat along with alcohols and acids. Strong oxidizing acids may cause a vigorous reaction that is sufficiently exothermic to ignite the reaction products. Heat is also generated by the interaction with caustic solutions. Flammable hydrogen is generated with alkali metals and hydrides.

  As a solvent, can be used in the manufacture of paint, adhesives and paint remover. It can completely or partially replace cyclohexanone, isophorone, ethylene glycol diethyl ether acetate (CAC), propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PMA), ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (BCS), DBE and other high boiling point solvents, with the characteristics of improving leveling and regulating drying speed of paint film.
EGDA is mainly used for paint baking, nitro paint, nitro paint, printing ink, coil steel coating, cellulose ester, fluorescent coating. It can dissolve rosin, acetate, nitrocellulose, alkyd resin, acrylic resin, polyester ester, etc.
