1.Promote skin health
In addition to antioxidants, squalene (and its derivatives squalane) also has moisturizing and moisturizing properties.
2.Used in cosmetics
Squalene is readily emulsified in standard cosmetic formulations such as cream, ointment, sunscreen, and therefore can be used as a moisturizer in creams (cold creams, cleansing creams, moisturizers), lotions, hair oils, hair creams, lipbalms, aromatic oils and powders, as well as acting as an antioxidant and free radical scavenger.
