Gateway has just elaborated on its current Walmart-powered renaissance with the first AiO desktop released through the chain as part of this recent comeback. It is based around a 23.8-inch screen with a 3-side-borderles design that contrasts with its heavy chin and FHD IPS specs.
The screen is topped by a 2MP webcam of indeterminate resolution that can either hide behind the unit or pop up into an inverse notch for handy privacy protection. The AiO can also either live on a VESA mount or on its own "fully adjustable" stand. Touch Monitors
The new Gateway desktop runs Windows 11 Home on just 1 configuration, powered by the Intel Pentium Silver J5040 platform and 4GB of RAM with a 128GB SSD (the expandability of which is not given). Nevertheless, the brand asserts that it is "perfect for any home office or remote learning environment".
The latest Gateway x Walmart PC does at least try to live up to this tagline by coming with a wireless mouse and keyboard that matches its black or white color options.
Hopefully, they are good enough to avoid an additional outlay for replacements on top of this US$399 potential purchase. The new Gateway AiO is available off- or online via its exclusive channel from now.
