A manufacturer with two locations in Columbiana County is consolidating operations.
A company spokesperson said Columbus McKinnon’s Salem plant will close by 2020.
Of the company’s 70 workers at that plant, all but 11 will move to Lisbon.
Some of the work is being sent to the company’s North Carolina plant. Those 11 people will have the opportunity to move with the company.
Columbus McKinnon makes cable rope and hoist systems used by the military and the oil and gas industry.
