HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WBRC) - UPDATE: The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a man found deceased in a vehicle near Lakeshore Parkway as 51-year-old Patrick Anthony Vacarella of Bessemer.
The Homewood Police Department reported a vehicle was found in Shades Creek near Lakeshore Parkway and Interstate 65 Sunday afternoon. Auto Vent Shade
Homewood PD officers responded to the location and discovered a deceased male. It appears the vehicle may have left the roadway and wrecked in the creek.
