By now you have discovered that going to the supermarket requires more than your shopping list, manufacturers coupons and a credit card. The new Colorado law requiring retailers to charge 10¢ for each paper or plastic bag means you have to stock up on some sort of way to carry your purchases home.
For some of us, we now have leftover plastic bags strewn across the back seat. Others have opted for reusable bags and/or sturdy boxes with handles.
What you don’t want is to wander your favorite grocery store, only to realize you forgot your bags and pay more that you should for a reusable store-branded cloth bag or disposable plastic one (wow, are they thin!).
Right now, Amazon has some good deals on reusable grocery bags and totes. Most you buy in bulk (6 to 12 bags), meaning you are never caught without one no matter where you shop.
Here are a few we found that caught our eye because they are not only practical, but look good and are either on sale or affordably priced. Remember that prices can change at any time.
