Grandparents are notoriously difficult to shop for! They seemingly have everything and “grandparent” also encompasses so many different age groups. I think the key here is to be thoughtful with your gifting. Are they an experience kind of person or someone who’s very sentimental? Do they have hobbies they love or want to explore more? Start there and see where it takes you! (Or start with this Christmas gifts for grandparents guide, haha. Also, if you haven’t already, take a look at my Christmas gift guide for her, personalized gifts for her, and gifts for women under $50!)
For pickleball enthusiasts, a chic new paddle is a no-brainer or a leather bound book of famous ballparks for a baseball aficionado. I love these personalized hats (would be a cute way to announce a pregnancy to a grandparent-to-be, too!) and personalized sweatshirts. For the sentimental, you could do baby handprints (this is the exact kit I used for Jack’s two sets of grandparents), a personalized calendar, or a special framed photo or memento– I also love these frames as a non-custom option. This digital frame has been a huge hit and is a Christmas gift for grandparents that keeps on giving because you can add photos all the time to keep it fresh. Father And Son Clothing

Any gardener would love this foldable gardening seat with tools AND a detachable tote, and this self-watering indoor garden is a great low-maintenance option. If they’re always hosting family game night, this wood Scrabble game is gorgeous. And for the grandparent who already has everything else under the sun, maybe have them record a special story for your child’s Toniebox!

I love the personalization of the gifts! So many great ideas! http://www.elspethsdaybyday.com
a little bit of life, a little bit of style, and everything in between.
A picture perfect snow day ❄️ 🛷 ☃️ Snowman pancakes, hot cocoa, grilled cheese, and sledding with friends! Do I think I jinxed the entire town by telling daycare on Friday that “I don’t think it’ll snow!” and then leaving Jack’s snow boots there until tomorrow? Maybe. Students of Madison, you’re welcome. Parents of Madison, I am sorry 🫣
Haven’t had much to share on the feed lately… it’s been a cozy, slow January at home and I wouldn’t want it any other way ❄️🫶🏻🤍
This has been a totally different pregnancy than my first. I’m more confident in some ways, more apprehensive in others. There is power in having done this before and there is also bliss in knowing nothing, too. I am having serious body image insecurities this time around and I also physically feel much, much older. I haven’t been able to be as active as I wish for various health reasons and that has definitely affected my mental health (and I just feel more sedentary and weak, which I don’t love). At the same time I have not had nearly as much time to “rest” with a two year old to chase around! Originally it felt like this pregnancy was flying by faster than my first with all the good toddler distractions and now I feel like I’ve been pregnant forever 😅 One thing that has been getting me through the hard days is knowing there is light at the end of the tunnel- I couldn’t imagine that with my first but I know it now and it’s bringing me a bit of peace. 📸 by @fineandfleurie (thank you for the beautiful photos!!!)
My ins and outs for 2024 🌙 I really love this trend! It was a great little exercise to sit down and think about what I want more of this year and what I am happy to leave behind.
So ready for 2024 ✨ I love a fresh new year. Clean slate, refocused priorities, a whole year of opportunities ahead. I have a feeling this one is going to be extra sweet 👶🏼
A 2023 highlight reel 🤍 This was a challenging, beautiful year filled with the best life has to offer and the hardest heartbreaks, too. I’m looking back on 2023 and choosing to see the beauty in the big and little moments alike, as well as breathing a sigh of relief to turn the page on the difficult moments (while recognizing the strength we gained as a blessing). I now look forward to 2024 and all that it has in store for us.

Personalised T Shirts ‘Twas the night before Christmas 🎄 Almost forgot to take the annual “boys in front of the tree” picture, but snapped a quick one before nap time! Swipe to the end for Jack’s creative direction: “I sit on the floor like a doggie.” Honestly still not sure how I’m getting all three boys to look at the camera…. Wish me luck next year when we add a fourth 🤭
