With the 10-week regular season done and dusted, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association released its 2023 prep football playoff brackets for all select and non-select divisions on Sunday.
Bi-District rounds for all eight brackets begin this weekend (Nov. 9-11).
Local teams in Division I non-select include 26th-seed South Lafourche at No. 7 Dutchtown, No. 25 Northshore at No. 8 West Monroe, No. 23 Ponchatoula at No. 10 Chalmette, No. 21 Mandeville at No. 12 Sam Houston, No. 20 Thibodaux at No. 13 Southside and No. 17 Terrebonne at No. 16 Westgate.
No. 22 West Ouachita travels to No. 11 Salmen, No. 18 Central-Baton Rouge at No. 15 East St. John, No. 19 Parkway at No. 14 Belle Chasse and No. 24 Benton at No. 9 Walker.
Defending state champion – and 3-seed Destrehan has a bye and will face winner off Belle Chasse-Parkway in the regional round next week.
