Flexpipe launched its Lean Maker Academy, an online certification program designed to teach workers to assemble modular system equipment for lean manufacturing.

The free Academy allows manufacturing engineers, lean and continuous improvement experts, and production maintenance workers to improve their processes while reducing costs.
The first program available teaches the tube and joint (tubular) system. The Academy provides all the knowledge needed to start designing and assembling tube and joint structures. The interactive lessons include quizzes to validate the participant’s learnings.
“The Lean Maker Academy not only transforms participants from novices to experts but also guides them in establishing a dedicated workshop for rapid responses to kaizen and continuous improvement requirements,” said Depelteau.
Participants earn a certificate upon program completion. Certifications for additional modular systems, will be available in the future.
